Our emergency services mission covers such areas as search and rescue, homeland security, disaster relief and life support activities, and emergency communications.
While there are many youth-oriented programs in America today, CAP's cadet program is unique in that it uses aviation as a cornerstone. Whatever your interests - survival training, flight training, photography, astronomy - there's a place for you in CAP's cadet program.
CAP's aerospace education program includes history, aerospace principles and the relevance of flight in today's world. We offer programs to schools nationwide, and teachers can participate in orientation flights - all with the goal of inspiring interest in careers in science, technology, math and engineering.
There is a wealth of professional education and training for adults as well. Our senior members actively participate in CAP missions. There are a variety of specialty training tracks available including Logistics, Communications, Cadet Programs, Public Affairs, Legal, Administration, Emergency Services, Finance, and many more. No military experience is necessary!
